A beautiful Wild Flower Oval Plate

I handmade and hand painted this pretty oval plate using handbuilding techniques.

I pressed wild flowers into the clay that I collected in my local fields in Devon.

I used underglazes to pick out the textures of the wild flowers. The plate has a lovely textured feel.

The plate has the words by RM Emerson “Love is like wildflowers, It’s often found in the most unlikely places.

Hand made using earthenware clay and hand painted. Fired in my kiln twice. Decorated with underglaze colours.
